What is VidWizz?
VidWizz lets you create and send video messages containing your own words. Our videos are short and designed to help you convey your message in a unique and fun way. In short, we give your words more impact!
How much does this service cost?
Absolutely nothing, our service is completely free!
How do I create my own video message?
Firstly, select your video template. Browse through our categories to find one you like. Each one has a video example to help you decide. Click on the image of a template to start creating your message. The first step is to type your text. We give you a preview image to show how your text will look (this is just one frame of the video). Then you enter the email address and your name before sending it.
How are messages delivered?
We send your message via email. The recipient will receive an email from VidWizz with the subject containing your name (or the name you give us). The email contains a link which, when clicked on, will display your message in their web browser.
Can I view my finished video message?
Once your message has been sent, you will see a link to watch your finished video message.
Can I send a message to myself?
Absolutely! Once you've received it, feel free to forward the email or copy & paste the link into your own email message.
How many people can I send a message to?
Our website currently supports just one email recipient. You can of course send it to yourself and then forward it to as many people as you like.
How much text can I write in my message?
The amount of text you can write depends on the template you choose. Some templates allow only a couple of lines of text, others much more. We do our best to fit as much text on as possible so the amount will vary depending on the size of characters used. You can use the preview image to help you edit your text to ensure it fits.
Can I control how my text looks?
Currently, the color and font of the text is fixed for each template. The layout is top-to-bottom, with each line being centered. You can insert blank lines to help improve the layout if needed.
Why does my text not appear?
Check to make sure that you haven't inserted too many blank lines at the start of your text.
What do you do with users' email addresses?
We only use the email address and name you give us to deliver your message. We don't store this information in our database, and we will not use it for marketing, or provide it to any 3rd party.
Will you be adding more templates?
Yes, you can expect to see frequent updates with new general-purpose templates and ones focused on specific holidays/festivals. If you have an idea for a template you'd like to see, please leave us your feedback comments.
Why can't I see any videos on your website?
Check that your web browser supports Flash 8 or higher.
How long do you keep messages for?
We will make your message available for at least 30 days after you send it.
